A Fresh Look at Mission

There were a number of questions at the conference we didn't get a chance to address, so we want to get some discussion going about them here. Some will be written, some will be videos, and we'll do our best to keep them coming regularly and stay engaged with any comments that might flow from them.

A Fresh Look at Mission started as a small group of Sydney Anglican friends praying and talking about biblically faithful and culturally accessible gospel mission to the city we love.

After meeting for a little over a year, we decided to hold a one-day conference to share our thinking and broaden the conversation to include the wisdom of others. The content of this website is the result.

Why A Fresh Look at Mission?

• Fresh: We believe each generation must own the mission and explore fresh possibilities for reaching the Sydney region.
• Look: We want to look at the context into which we speak, and look to Jesus as the focus of our mission.
• Mission: We want to reach out and fully engage Sydney with the gospel of Jesus Christ, not have an internal dialogue among ourselves.
